have since had the part replaced, fully tested and then repackaged. The item
may be brand new but returned by a retailer as an "overstocked" item.

The MB-D10 Multi-Power Battery Pack Grip includes:
MS-D10EN for use with the EN-EL3e battery (Sold Separately).
MD-D10 for use with 8 x AA Batteries (Not Included) - which accepts 1.5v LR-6(Alkaline), FR6 (Lithium), HR6 Ni-MH or ZR6 Ni-Mn batteries.
The EN-EL4/EN-EL4A batteries (sold separately) can also be used providing you have the optional BL-3 Battery Chamber Cover
